Eric and Amy purchased the ranch in 2014 and have made it their mission to develop the best environment for wildlife to thrive, while maintaining a welcoming campsite for family, friends, and hunters to enjoy.  Dr Vela serves as a hunting guide as well.

Lino has been the ranch foreman since inception and is a "jack of all trades" in maintaining and managing the ranch.  He also is the primary hunting guide and has helped many hunters harvest their trophy animal.

Matthew has been helping with hunts at A&E Vela Ranch for the last several years and started guiding hunts in 2025.  With his commitment to spending countless hours scouting in the field, he has extensive knowledge of the herd and has become instrumental in successful hunts at our ranch.
